Posted at 6:56 AM by Brittany, on June 3, 2013

    1. In an attempt to fix my peanut butter addiction intake, I purchased a jar that was 1/5 the size of the jar I’ve been consuming. I wish I were kidding, and I am not proud of how quickly I go through that jar fit for a whale. I turn into a human whirl wind with my hands and mouth when it comes to peanut butter. It’s not a pretty sight.

    80oz -VS- 16oz

    80oz -VS- 16oz

    2. My running is going great lately, and (knock on wood) nothing hurts! My knees have been doing great and I am convinced that I hurt my knee in February due to sitting down too much/minimal movement. The more I stand and move now the less pain. BAZINGA!

    3. I love taking outdoor pictures. Not much else I need to say about that.

    20130602-195528

    4. My pants have been feeling a little tight lately. I’m not talking about my jeans..I’m talking about my yoga pants. You know it’s bad when your stretchy pants are stretched to full capacity. No more trays of chocolate.

    5. My mom is the best photographer. She really knows how to capture the essence of my beauty.

    20130602-195547

Clearly that swing was a struggle to get onto. I happen to think I look like a wounded raptor on the left. The sound I would make sounds like this: “CAWWW CAWWWW”

    Money Shot

    6. Thanks to my pants getting snug, I am trying to cut back on sweets (and peanut butter.) Instead of going cold turkey anytime I get a craving, which is everyday, I eat an “energy” bar instead. Something like a Clif Mojo bar, or a Nature Valley Oats & Honey bar. Let’s be real, these are pretty high in sugar and are more like dessert anyway, but still less sugar than a cookie. It’s a win win in my book.

    7. Ever had a peanut butter and basil sandwich? I have. I licked the plate clean which tells you it was edible and not disgusting, but I think I’ll leave the basil to my pasta sauce.

    20130602-203046

    8. I think my cat needs a diaper. He is getting so old his BM’s are a little messy and he likes to scoot his butt on the carpet. It’s not fun to clean up his yellow brick road.

    9. Speaking of my cat, both of my cats were sick within a week of each other. I was awake all hours of the night concerned about the sneezing fit that was going on in my room. Hurricane Kittina was happening at 3A.M. for like a week. Poor babies.

This is them with their new toy, Mr.Wiggles. The tan man is the messy pooper.

This is them with their new toy, Mr.Wiggles. The tan man is the messy pooper. I find the black mans body in a hilarious stance. The longer I stare, the funnier he looks.

    10. I know you have all been on the edge of your seats waiting for an update on my coin counter, and I am happy to report that I have made it to $5.33. Who’s laughing now!

Also I would like to give my mom some credit. After 40 failed photo attempts, she did capture a good one. I call this picture, “two jungle cats hungry for spinach.”

    20130602-195655

    Q: What’s your confession?

      1) I have tried this “buy smaller jars of PB” thing as well. It works because my little brain gets convinced that PB is scarce and must be rationed / hoarded.

      2) yay, no running pain!

      3) My pants are getting snug too. I would like to blame it on the heat.

      4) PB basil??????????????????????? what madness is this?

      5) I’m sorry to hear about your cats 😦 From fostering, I know that cat colds are hella contagious and it can be hard and gross to manage.

      6) I had to type this comment in Notepad because I didn’t want to forget anything. That’s all 🙂

Your comments always make my day! My thoughts EXACTLY on the PB subject. If I have more, I will eat more..if I have less..I will SAVE it.

We should obviously get together and figure out how to take our cats for walks so that we can spend time with them, and fit into out pants, and just hangout causeeee that would be AWESOME.

YES, CAT WALKS!!!! I will have to get a cat, but that is no problem! Or, maybe you could bring the cats and I could bring the snacks? Mojo bars! Also, maybe you could bring those amazing pb chocolate bars that you made a few days ago. And maybe your mom could come and photograph us looking like raptors. caw caw!!!!

You live on the west coast, right? I’m in Pittsburgh, so if we met halfway that would be something like Nebraska? (I will admit that I have zero knowledge of central US geography and totally had to look at a map. Who knows anything about Nebraska, srsly?)

Hahha you are hilarious. Your mom is about as good of a photographer as mine is. Probably better, since your pictures don’t turn out blurry. I’m all about moving a little bit more and not cutting out sweets entirely. As I scour my pantry and cabinets for the marshmallows that should be in there… okay, maybe cutting back on sweets isn’t happening. I’ll just move more 😉 Yayyyy for no running pain!

I couldn’t I had it opened the afternoon after finishing the other jar. oops. I’m trying to cut out lots of added sugar to help lose some of the weight I gained this winter, I haven’t been doing too well so far.

I’d have to say this article had me rolling with laughter. You have such an awesome personality. I would have to agree with the first commentor, you are tiny and there is no possible way your pants are tight on you. I really do like the idea of buying a smaller jar of peanut butter. I am sure that does help with over eating it. When I get on the kick to try and drop pound because I eat to much at times as well., I will load my plate up as normal but only eat half. I know that is wasteful but maybe it tricks my brain into thinking I am getting the same amount. I guess we all have our own quirks.

If your kitties are doing the butt-scoot you may need to have the vet expel their glands. if you don’t know what that means DO NOT look it up while eating peanut butter.
Based on those pictures, there’s no way your stretchy pants are overstretched. I bet they just felt uncomfortable because you were squeezing them into a little kids swing.

So….. how many servings are actually in the baby jar of pb? My guess is like 2 or 4…. which would be 1 for me. I’m glad we share the same addiction. And the basil sandwhich…. very crafty. I must try dis.

Yoga pants are always snug on me. I’ve yet to find a loose pair. But if they were loose, then wouldn’t that make them thinner-material-sweat-pants? I don’t know if that makes sense.

I really like, actually love, all your facial expressions on the swing. Swings are fickle things but you look like a beautiful swinger (don’t take that the wrong way)

Haha peanut butter is my weakness too. I have maybe 6 or 7 jars of it in the cupboard… Always got to have backup, I mean you never know when a storm will hit and you will be without power for a week 😉 That doesn’t even sound like such a bad thing if it means I’d be eating peanut butter all day for a week 😛 And to think I used to be allergic to it… really, how did I survive?!

I personally think you look like an angel from heaven on the swing… My confessions
      1) Since surgery I only shower every few days (I’m working on it) 2) I’ve been making mini batches of granola because I eat it all as soon as it comes out of the oven 3) I resent my roommate for not vacuuming (EVER) so I passive aggressively sneak some of her cereal.

I am a fan of your raptor pose, and a sucker for kitties, even with their boot scooting habits. It’s always the long haired ones too.
I also really like those cabin pictures with the red chairs. The symmetry, the colors; they are absolutely artistic.
