Posted at 7:32 AM by Brittany, on March 10, 2014

    1. I’ve been hearing birds/owls in the mornings. This is exciting news. I will relish in this while I can because I know that come July I will want to shank them for waking me up.

    2. I went for a run in the rain a few days ago. It was lovely. There is nothing quite like the smell of (fresh/new) wet wood.

    20140309-054903

    3. I want to chop my hair. It’s at the awkward stage and all I do is throw it back. I need to get some guts cause I want to cut it short…real short. Maybe I’ll just buzz it all off.

    4. Sometimes all I need to do is go somewhere that has wonderful memories and just sit.

    20140309-054855

    5. I haven’t been to Disneyland in almost two years….if I don’t go soon you might see me on the news for behavior I cannot be held responsible for. Disney made me do it…

    6. I went painting on Saturday, and it was serious bidness. I think I’ll quit my life and move into the forest to paint trees and leaves on things..yeah..that’s my plan.

    20140309-054915

    20140309-055055

I’m going to destroy some vegetables in this bowl.

    7. I made a raw vegan banana cream pie yesterday. It rocked my face soooo hard. I will be posting the recipe soon. Be prepared to rock face with me. I’m obsessed.

    8. I hoard Starbucks cups. They are perfect for “out the door” transportation. I also hoard 1lb bags of coffee, which means a giveaway is coming.

Yeah, these are all empty. Oh look, some holiday cups! Those are for the middle of summer when I am craving Christmas time.

Yeah, these are all empty. Oh look, some holiday cups! Those are for the middle of summer when I am craving Christmas time.

    9. This article…yes! If you’re a frequent coffee shopper, please read. Not for kids.

    10. It was a long winter season of running in my Asics. Some sunny weather pushed me to bust out my Vibrams. After 10 miles in my bare-footers, my calves were murdered.

    20140309-162646

No shame in my game. I definitely wore this catastrophe of color.

    Q: What’s your confession?

HAHAHA KATTHHYYY!! I am dying. You never cease to make me bust my gut. I’d probably pee myself if I didn’t have such amazing bladder control. It’s all the water I drink I swear, forced me to learn to hold it so that others don’t spit in my food because I make them stop to let me pee every 10 minutes.

Pottery for a first date is adorable. Totally worthy of action.

Are you wearing a tank to run?!?! Heck yes you are! ahhh, I just love the west coast for that reason. Been so warm here! Your snap chat of your pie had me drooling at work, ugh, so good. You should probably start a cookbook. Or open a vegan bakery.. I can totally see you doing that.

ahahahahaha that article is hilarious. Having previously worked at Starbucks I know allll to well how annoying people get. Also – on the topic of caramel macchiatos, EVERY GUY LOVES THEM..we had more men than women order them and which I found to be shocking.

My confession: haven’t blogged in a decade, it takes me a decade to respond to comments because I have been a lazy blogger. MERRRRR.

To be fair, I wear a tank even when it’s cloudy and chilly..simply because I GET SO HOT WHEN I RUN! It’s crazy. BUTT IT has been amazingly warm a few days this week, and this skin needs some VIT D! I WANT A VEGAN SHOP..or foodtruck..or both…

I freaking love your capris, and I’d rather have those capris than have a matchy matchy outfit like I always do when I run. It’s the worst “mom” habit that I have! All my friends make fun of me. 🙂 OMG banana cream pie? I didn’t even know that was a regular thing, let alone vegan. Can’t wait to see that. AWESOME job making pottery! See, we don’t have as many of those as we do the canvas and wine thing. We should merge the two ideas and go into business together and make a huge profit so you can retire early, live in the woods, paint, and be vegan. The offer stands forever, FYI. 🙂 Have a fab Monday gorgeous!

That bowls is outstanding…you will have to show what it looks like after it has been fired! I worked in a coffee-shop all through undergrad and can relate. The price thing-ugg then drink your coffee at home no one is forcing you to spend the money and the caramel macchiato (I hated having to confront that one).

If you think birds and owls are bad, try roosters. My biggest surprise of all when coming to Kauai was that there are freaking roosters EVERYWHERE — no exaggeration. And they do their rooster song not only when the sun rises, but all freaking day long. Apparently they’re becoming a serious problem because they have no natural predators on the island… Crazy things.

Spoons- funny story about the chickens in Hawaii. So we were at costco (my family is the only family that would visit costco in Hawaii) and noticed how cheap chicken was there! Obvs it’s cause it’s basically road kill there…

      2. I LOVE the smell of fresh rain! It’s one of my favorites — all musky and woodsy and earthy and refreshing. But I hate running in it. So go you! 🙂

      3. Awww!! I actually really, really liked your long hair! (Well, when you posted photos of it at least. 😉 ) I was jealous. It looked so thick and straight… Just gorgeous!

      5. COME VISIT ME AND WE’LL TAKE A ROAD TRIP DOWN TO DISNEYLAND!!! No joke. Seriously. I actually might be driving down to LA 2 weekends from now. (My guy needs to go down for a conference thing, but he’s going to be so worn out after it that it wouldn’t be too safe for him to drive himself back. Hence why I’m invited… The designated “sleep” driver!) Anyway, while he’s super busy both days, it’d be the perfect excuse for us to get some Disney time in!

      6. Pretty pretty please, paint me a bowl!! I trade you one of my dad’s wooden ones he’s made!

      10. Oh goodness, you are SO brave to run in those. I think I’d die. (And I’m jealous again… I haven’t run in 2 weeks because of a knee injury. I’m dying on the inside. I JUST WANT TO RUN!!!)

      Okay, I think that’s all… 🙂

I dreamt of shaving all my hair off before I finally cut it short. Just do it. It’s only hair, and if you hate it, it’ll grow back. I’m betting you’ll love it though. You’ll also notice short haired women everywhere.

Very impressive bowl there, in which you’ll destroy veggies. I couldn’t think of a better purpose.
