Posted at 8:48 AM by Brittany, on April 2, 2013

    1. The sunshine outside my window has allowed for nearly naked runs. Aka shorts and tank tops!!!!!! I have my first tan lines of the year. Shorts shorts SHORTS!

    20130402-080043

    2. I did not and will not clean that mirror, even after taking a photo and seeing the filth. That photo was also taken before the tank tops were brought out. It was the first shorts run of the season. These things must be documented.

    3. Did I mention the weather has been nice in my area?! That also means busting out the Vibram’s and running WITHOUT socks! Left: socks, right: NO SOCKS!

20130402-0800554. I have made it to $2.00 on my coin counter. You all laughed when I started, laugh no more! $2.00 can ALMOST buy a cupcake!

    5. I went to Africa.

    Elephant

    Elephant

    6. I’ve been tearing through books lately. I just can’t stop reading.

    7. I think coffee is one of the most amazing smells in the world. Just the smell makes my bowels quiver. 99% of the time I drink coffee I only drink half the glass. I mean business.

    20130402-080153

    8. I’ve been playing tourist again around Seattle. While there I rode a carousel for the first time in years.

    20130402-080106

    20130402-080123

    9. Biggest confession of the post: Over the last couple days I have secretly stolen some of my sisters Easter candy to eat. I ate it..I ate her candy. That’s not the confession. The candy is not vegan! It was DELICIOUS! I may have had a cookie or a bite of non vegan cake too. OK no more Easter candy for me.

    10. I also ate my body weight in Field Roast on Easter, and make a bunny cookie that could probably win some kind of art show.

    20130402-080132
    20130402-080146

Just a little fun fact about me: I do not pluck my eyebrows to be like this, I was just cursed blessed with STUBS that vanish at the end for eyebrows. I’m too lazy for makeup everyday, so if anyone has any magical hair growth HOOK ME UP!

    Q: What’s your morning confession?

    b

Love your Vibrams! Do you also have a regular pair of running shoes or do you run in minimalist shoes 24/7? Confession: I don’t plan on doing much work today at work…like pretty much none at all 😉

I have another pair of shoes. When I started running once upon a time ago I ran only in the Vibrams, then I started increasing my mileage (half marathons) and I bought some Asics. I ran in only the Asics for like a year, and just recently starting going back and forth between the two!! I like working the different muscles of my legs with the different shoes. Love your confession!

I feel you on the eyebrow situation. My right brow has a chicken pox scar/bald spot and I always feel like people are judging my tweezing skills.

Also I found this store near my Mom’s house that ALWAYS has Vibrams on sale. I want to get some soooo bad.

I love your “Confession” posts; I laugh at every one and want to write little responses to each! I’ll try to refrain and just respond to a few…
      (8) When I went to Disneyland, I HAD to ride the carousel at least twice. And pick a horse that actually went up and down. There’s nothing like little carnival rides that make me feel like a little kid again!
      (9) There’s nothing wrong with taking a quick cheat break! Especially for a holiday with as much yummy candy as Easter. It’s downright impossible to avoid all of the (milk) chocolate bunnies and eggs, marshmallow Peeps, and jelly beans!
      (10) I want that bunny!! I’d eat the entire thing in one sitting. (After taking photos, of course.)

Hmm, my morning confession… I ate a dark chocolate Easter egg (Hershey’s makes those now, so I don’t have to suffer through the milk chocolate ones anymore!) as my breakfast “dessert.” So worth it!

Oo how do you find running in vibrams? Did you have to slowly increase your distance?

Your bunny cookie is too cute 🙂 I also love the smell of coffee except I don’t even drink coffee anymore so I mean serious business.

My mum has the same eyebrows as you and when she was younger she always got in trouble with my grandma for not using the eyebrow pencil she bought her. Apparently she was always like ‘draw on your eyebrows, draw on your eyebrows’ 🙂

I lovee running in my Vibrams. I actually only wore Vibrams when I first started running. Then I started to increase my miles and switched to a more supported shoe. Now I go back and forth! If you’ve never worn these shoes before then yes, most definitely slowly increase your miles. The first run I ran in these a few years back was I think a 3miler, and I couldn’t walk down the stairs right for days!! My calves were SO tight!

Admit it… you stole my sunshine! It was nice here this morning and then the clouds rolled in and changed all that. Bugger. At least it’s warm though. But I’m not sure I’d be willing to walk around in shorts yet. I’m a wimp when it comes to the cold, and as much as I want summer to come, i’m not sure bringing out the short shorts and freezing my butt off is going to make it come any faster. And coffee… nectar of the gods ❤

I NEVER make it unless I just washed the sheets or company is coming that might see my bedroom (why should they be seeing my bedroom), and usually the bed and even my bedroom is in total disarray, which is to say it’s slightly messy and always unmade. 🙂

Haha, I like your confession about not cleaning that mirror. I pride myself on my cleaning skills, but I also have no problem letting dust and toothpaste and whatever else grime up a mirror and letting it sit there for a solid 6 mos. 🙂

Also, I’m curious – does going with or without socks in those running shoes cause any sort of uncomfortable rubbing on your feet or blisters? I imagine the fit would be slightly different depending on whether you were wearing socks or not…

My “confession” is really just a compliment – you have awesome legs!

The socks don’t make a huge difference, the shoe fits a tad snugger with the socks and I suppose they would help prevent any blistering as well. I like to think they keep my toes warmer! You are too kind with that compliment haha. Thank you!

I actually wore these shoes when I first started running once upon a time ago! I love them, but I switched to sneakers when I started running longer distances. Now I try to switch back and forth! The Vibrams are def more or a spring shoe though, otherwise my toes freeze!

Yay for warmer weather! This is super exciting and your right must be documented. Vibrams are the best but I cannot manage them with socks, aka they are my spring/fall shoes 😉 I hardly ever finish my entire cup of coffee – I don’t understand why because it smells and tastes so good. Habit perhaps? You look so happy in each photo here I love it! My morning confession is that I’m currently sitting on my floor on my yoga mat in criss-cross (applesauce) and skipping class for a mental health day – whoops! Enjoy your day Brittany!

The smell of coffee is absolutely glorious! I do enjoy coffee but only about once per day, yet the smell gets me everytime 🙂 Wahooo for warmer weather… a favorite thing to do is exactly what you did, wear shorts out for a run! A wonderful feeling that first time you do so, when you know the seasons are finally making a change

I feel your pain on the brows (although you always look gorgeous) did you see my post about waxing off my eyebrow? Well it never did grow back the same and now the one is still rather stubby. This is why I love my bangs 🙂

I am also excited about tank top running weather. Can’t wait!!
