Posted at 5:00 AM by Brittany, on April 27, 2017

    1. I had a coffee date with a woman I met through pet sitting last week, and she is such a gem. She gifts me with things each time I watch her cat and on our date she gave me a card with ten euros inside for my upcoming trip.

    image

    2. I get overly excited when I enter a bathroom other than mine and find the toilet seat up. To me this means the bathroom was freshly cleaned (usually at 6am when I arrive at work) and mine will be the first fanny of the day to grace the seat.

    3. I have been trying to get back into a running groove lately, and had a few runs last week that really made my soul sing. I managed a 5 miler that I didn’t think I had in me. Proof that whether you think you can or can’t, you’re right.

    image

    4. I’m writing this to kill time before my bimonthly massage. I’m anticipating the jello like state my body will be in post rub down. The woman I see is a magician. Update: this massage was so good I couldn’t think straight.

    5. I have some kind of OCD when it comes to containers of food. Specifically nut butter jars. I need the sides clean of product as the jar is used. I do not like when there is butter all up the sides when the jar is half gone.

    image

Possibly hard to tell, but the top of the PB must have an even line. Minor residual remnants at the top are OK, but clumps are no no no.

    6. I’ve had this song on repeat. Tell me, would you dive with me?

    7. One of my runs last week was along the water. In the pouring rain. After a 15 hour work day. It was awesome. image

    8. I watched La La Land for the second time, and it was just as depressing as it was the first time I watched it. The end makes me feel sooooeemmpptyyy.

    9. I’ve been riding the veggie train haarrrddd lately because they make me feel good. I love when I share photos with my friends and their reply is, “looks good, but where’s the protein?” Then I proceed to school them.

    image

Legit this plate of plants has over 35g of protein. Thanks for the concern though. 😉

    10. Asparagus pee. That is all.

    Q: What’s your confession?

My confession: I haven’t seen La La Land. Everyone raves about how wonderful it is, but I’m not a fan of romances (or most musicals) so I’ll probably wait years to watch it.
Also, I cannot wait to read about your adventures in Ireland! I’m so excited for you 🙂

It’s good, I enjoy the movie don’t get me wrong..but the ending. I just can’t. Maybe it’ll be playing one day when you’re on a long flight and you’ll have the option to watch it for free.

OMGGGG I WISH you lived nearby and we could have had you house sit/pet sit Pilot the fluff ball while we were on vacation… the lady we hired as terrible and he got zero walks and was left inside a lot 😦 It was super sad BUT alas, he probably will forget about it in a month.

ANYWAYS, yay for doing a 5 miler. I have been struggling a lot on runs too but mainly because I have to pee like, every mile. It is quite annoying. I have come to appreciate talking long walks with little runs sprinkled in here and there.

That plate of greens looks like perfecto. I hate asparagus pee, sigh. I CAN’T BELIEVE YOUR TRIP IS SO SOON!!! Omg, have the best time and just do everything, don’t question it. Try all the food and take in the sights. Can’t wait to hear all about it

Love that your fanny is first in line at work, mine usually is too! Because we are such early birds hehe 🙂

I got a massage on vacation and it was the first in like three years. I think I need to follow your schedule with the bi-monthly. #worthit

AHHH how sad about Pilot! How do you know he wasn’t let out, did she tell you that!? Ugh poor guy. You have the pregnant version of runners trots. Just gotta find a good bush! 😂 also, I highly recommend bimonthly massage. It’s good for your health!

I can’t believe Ireland is so close- it’ll be so much fun to hear about your trip! I may not comment a lot, but I read every single one of your posts and honestly they bring so, so, so much joy. Thank you for sharing your life with us!

I’ve been on an ice cream binge lately, and I have this weird obsession kind of like your nut butter jars. When I scoop ice cream out, I can’t have any ice cream on the sides, either. But also, the remaining ice cream must be leveled out. It must be even and neat. So, I keep on scooping and shaping it with the spoon until it’s all flat, neat and clean.

Your dinner plate makes me want asparagus and brussel sprouts for dinner. So I think that’s exactly what we’ll have! 🙂

And I soooo dislike using public restrooms, but pregnancy has given me very little option, haha! So I’ve discovered that I, too, like walking in to a public restroom in the morning and finding that the seats are up because it means they were freshly cleaned!

What a sweet friend! Too funny about the seat being up… I, too get in at 6AM and love having a fresh seat to sit on. I love even more that there aren’t too many people in the building after my first cup of Joe and there for I can “drop the kids at the pool” in peace 🙂 ANYWAYS… my confession… I was “craving” a donut (I’ve been SO GOOD limiting sugar and didn’t want to deprive myself) so I just ate the top part. And since I hate throwing away/wasting food, I took the other half to Todd- we work at the same place. I know. I’m weird…

I wonder what causes asparagus pee.. I mean, besides eating asparagus, obviously. I haven’t had it in years and I seriously work out on asparagus every Spring. I know that eating meat causes stinky poots. But, you aren’t eating meat so it shouldn’t be the thing in your diet doing it.

Asparagus pee. HAHAHA I didn’t try asparagus until a few years ago, fell in love with it, then wondered what was wrong with me until my Hus told me the issue…
I am the same way with peanut butter. I CAN’T STAND my hubby eating the pb, because he is so messy. And he leaves pb on the spoon or knife too when he puts it in the sink – who DOES that?! Just NO!
Ok, on this trend of complaining about my Hus eating pb…question. When you make a pb&j, 1 knife or 2?
ONE KNIFE! Do the pb. Wipe the knife, both sides, on the other piece of bread, dip in jelly and spread. LICK BUTTER KNIFE CLEAN and place in sink. Bada-bing-bada-boom. What is so hard about that?!?!
