Posted at 6:30 AM by Brittany, on February 12, 2015

    1. I haven’t talked about running much in these parts lately, but that doesn’t mean it’s not happening. It is…it is happening. 3-4 x a week. Half marathon in 30days.

    IMG_0374

    Soggy 7 miler

    2. On the run pictured above I got a bloody toe, and both my hands cracked and bled. Uhhh…hot mess much? I’ll spare you photos. I’m ready for spring running.

    3. My mom made a raw strawberry cheesecake and left me a slice to find on my car. I found it at 5am before work last Saturday. I think I’ll keep her.

    IMG_0376

Coffe + pie = blissfulbritt. <—I had to.

    4. I’m craving change. I hope something crazy happens soon. Hey atmosphere, throwing it out there!! I’m READY!

    5. I’ve been living off of the Starbucks brown rice salad. I get one everyday – no joke. I bring it home and add more greens. It helps that I get them FOFREE.

    IMG_0377

    kale+spinach+peas+butternut squash+broccoli+sundried tomatoes+cabbage+brownrice+allthesalsaaaaa.

    6. My photos are awful lately. Taken inside – aka away from natural light. Meh.

    7. I’m obsessed with this vacuum. Obsessed.

    IMG_0366

    8. I had the most lovely conversation with two customers at work last week. 15 minutes of pure coffee geekery. I love sharing coffee knowledge with others.

    9. These Starbucks cups make my single heart swoon.

    IMG_0391

    10. If a dog poops in the dark and no one is around to see, did he really poop? Ultimate confession: I was walking the dog the other night and not a single fiber in my body wanted to pick up his poop, so I left it. In my defense I went to pick it up the next day, along with someone else’s poop! By someone I mean something…a dog.

    I hope.

    Q: What’s your confession?

Sorry about the ‘bloody run’! that must’ve been terrible and messy? Being in New England, I can totally relate to ‘dry runs’ and bitter cold. Good luck for the Half-marathon!

Sometimes when I take my dogs to the park, as soon as we get there we walk to the tree line at the back side of the cemetery beside the park where no one walks so they can poop and I don’t have to pick it up.

Haha, I was at the park yesterday and someone left their dog poop in the middle of the trail! I did my good duty and picked it up. I confess there have been times where if my pup goes in a pile of leaves, it’s almost easier to leave it then dig through..

      My confession:
      1) I haven’t run once this week and feel really guilty about it.
      2) I changed to another pavement not to bump into a happily just married friend today.
      3) Two weeks ago the boyfriend broke up with me and I haven’t got a clue what and how to write about it on the blog without sounding really bitter :))))

Oh my dear friend, I am so sorry to hear this. Just know this…time heals everything. I had a heart breaking break up nearly two years ago and it took time, but I finally made it through alive. I didn’t feel like running for a WHILE (it was something we did together) and I avoided people like the plague. Eventually, you’ll have to come out and be one with the world again, but take time to process what happened. Don’t force a post if you don’t have words to write!

If you ever need to chat, or vent, or whatever I’m just an email away and will happily share my similarities and how I worked through this very situation. Hang in there, bigger things will come! ❤

The final 30 day stretch! Hopefully the sogginess will be lifted for the St. Patty’s day spirit.

Certainly, I could go back and do my own research, but, similar to your confession, I’ll opt for the lazier route: where does your passion from Starbucks stem from?

        February 13, 2015 at 8:33 AM

Love this question. Here we go. When it comes down to it I really just have a passion for coffee in general, and I work for Starbucks which is why I highlight a lot of their blends and products (willingly, I’m not paid for that haha.) It wasn’t until I started working for the company that I discovered all the good they do, not only for their employees, but for the countries and farmers they buy their beans from. I pursued a program within the company in order to become a coffee master, which taught me more about the process behind coffee, and also the process behind Starbucks and their buying principles. I don’t care for the foofoo drinks like mocha’s and frappuchinos, so in that aspect I’m not a Starbucks fan, but when I took the time to delve into the MANY options of beans they have for a standard cup of black coffee (not to mention the multiple brewing methods) my passion exploded and the rest is history. When love is put into a cup of coffee it shows. 🙂

I can relate about needing change. I’m trying to get out of boring Albuquerque, but finding an out of state good job isn’t easy. Awesome! Cats and coffee and peanut butter chocolate treats! Can they be gluten free too? Ha! Yep, the Starbucks in Nob Hill (ABQ) is the only one in NM. Here is my video proof. http://instagram.com/p/yxtzBmOmFI/

I need to head to Starbucks to get one of those cute cups – hopefully they aren’t out yet! My hands have been so bad this winter, but I bought Neutrogena’s hand cream and it is amazing. Heals up my hands within a day.

LOL…If I give you the location of my car when I’m running, can your mom leave me desserts too? I’m craving change too…something good.

OMG, are you ok? I hope your toe feels better soon! Why, I would like to keep your mum…My mum hates sugar and sweets! This brown rice salad looks super yummy, I can’t believe Starbucks has this type of salad…I also have a clear obsession with vacuum and fancy ones, too! 😉

Love all the “confessions”–and love the Starbuck’s mug!!

Hopefully we will get warmer weather soon (50+ in NY yesterday) to make being outside more tolerable!
