This is the easiest/most adorable craft you could possibly do for a Christmas gift.
Salt shaker from Bed Bath and Beyond, a mini tree from Joanne’s, glitter, glue, saran wrap, and some ribbon! Simply glue the tree to the bottom of the shaker, put in whatever kind of glitter/fake snow you want, saran wrap the top so that the glitter doesn’t fall out, and wrap the top with a bow color of your choice!
I just can’t get over the adorableness.
Q: Have you made any holiday like crafts recently?? Share them with meee!!

If I see you at the mall tomorrow watching as I scramble to find gifts I am going to yell “She has the last Firby” and laugh hahaha…seriously though dang you for being done, not fair (JK totally all my own fault)
Brittany
Hahaha ohh that was good. I’ll be sure to stay AWAY from Seattle malls to avoid that scenario! I really do have the last Furby though…
Alex @ therunwithin
wow I am in love with those tree shaker things. so adorable. I have yet to buy christmas presents for anyone…oh snap.

Cutest! I think I could actually make one of those salt shaker deals!!
Brittany @ GOtheXtraMile
How cute are those salt shakers!!! Love it. Veggies + cupcakes = perfect.
Sara
wow, I have never heard of eggnog extract – I’m going to have to keep an eye out for that for next year. My eggnog cupcakes could have benefited from a shot of that. Yours certainly do look good though! And those salt shakers really are too adorable!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Eeee! Those salt shaker trees are adorable! They make me want to run out to Michael’s and get all crafty, which I used to be when I was younger, buuuuut I haven’t made anything interesting in years… well, unless you count cookies, because I’ve been making a tonne of those 😀

Those cupcakes really do look like DQ ice cream! Yummmm 🙂
You’re so crafty, I love it!

The little salt shakers are adorable! Definitely trying to make them 🙂

I’m as crazy as you – I totally love to watch the holiday shoppers and love it when the mall is a bit crazy.
I don’t need anything at all this boxing day..but I feel like I need to be out there at 7am with the rest of the shoppers looking for a sale on something – anything!!
abbeyspiro
That craft is ADORABLE! and the cupcakes look to-die-for-tasty! I haven’t made any crafts lately but I used to make this cool do-decahedron out of our Christmas cards from the year before! My mom has all of them that she hangs up each year. My one claim to fame 🙂
Jade
I love those little crafts. Good for you for getting shopping all done! I haven’t made any crafts, although we had some family members ask for “homemade” stuff. Definitely struck out there!
Rachel Elizabeth
haha you mean you don’t just eat cupcakes 😉 jk :p I totally need to get my baking on this weekend.. been too lazy after work this week haha tsk tsk. I was actually just asking myself what I should do this weekend since my shopping is done, maybe I too will watch the crazy shoppers :p sit back and relax on a bench, watch them all panic hahaha
HollieisFueledByLOLZ
What?! You eat things that you haven’t posted about?!?! I don’t believe this nonsense. First, having Christmas shopping done feels fabulous. Second, those salt shakers are so cute. If I hadn’t finished my shopping I might go for that.
moderngirlnutrition
That really does look like an ice cream cone! That could be a new trend;)

I wish I were better at crafts! These are super cute!
My plan is to make corkboard with wine corks when I get home. Hooray for holiday crafts! Have fun at your party!

Alexandra

I DO NOT MAKE THINGS. Apparently I AM NOT A GIRL – well that’s according to EVERYONE I KNOW. Because I don’t bake. I don’t decorate. I don’t know how to dress. I don’t cook (well I can cook I just am too lazy most of the time). But wait, if I am not a girl… Then what am I? I am NOT A GUY EITHER cause I don’t drink beer, I don’t like watching football or basketball or baseball… I don’t watch porn… And I am def. NOT packing heat.
Okay, where the heck am I going with this?! LMFAO! I think I should just STOP now! Have a good “shindig” tonight! I am sure no one will notice that your cupcakes are vegan.. and BTW – they look like a 10, even if they taste like a 7.
Brittany
This girlishness is so new to me I feel so foreign to it..but I like it! I still don’t act like a girl though, sometimes that gets me into trouble..oops. I think you are packing heat cause baby you’re making me HOT.
Wow..lets just pretend that never happened.

Literally just busted out laughing! Zevia just shot outta my nose!

Aww, I love the little trees! Too cute! We were at an end-of-the-world party tonight and the hostess actually had a couple of these, but they were in mason jars. So cute!
Megan
Those are so cute!!! The only crafting I will be doing are wrapping lots of little baby presents inside of a large box to annoy the boy when he opens them : ) My crafting happens in the kitchen and that is all. ALSO when are you mailing me cupcakes..
jessielovestorun
What an adorable & perfect holiday gift idea!!! Love it.
Khushboo Thadani
Hahah love the veggie disclaimer…good to know you’re getting in your vitamins ;)! I haven’t done any holiday crafts although I recommended your card idea to a friend of mine (the 52 reasons why you love your other half) and she loved the idea..so thank you on her behalf!
Nicole Marie Story
No holiday crafts. But I’ve spent lots of dough at REI, Kate Spade, and Harry Barker. 😉
Happy Christmas, lovely!
The Kitchen Confectional
These are brilliant! I can already imagine filling them with candy trees and disco glitter. :3
Miranda @ Biting Life
Wow, you’re awesome at cupcake frosting, haha! Mine always end up a MESS. I definitely need one of the frosting-piping things.
Barbara Bamber | justasmidgen
I had no doubt in my mind you eat lots of veggies.. you’re just too healthy looking not to:D I am in love with your little adorable shakers.. just in love!!! I bought a few vintage shakers and now you have me thinking of the possibilities!! Have a wonderful and merry Christmas, Brittany!! xx
katalysthealth
I made rudolph cupcakes friday night that I had such a good time making, and an even better time watching my youth kids eat!!
thebaking
Nice to see the eggnog cupcakes you mentioned. I especially like the look of the frosting: very white. I got invited over for an all-vegan homemade early Christmas dinner on Friday night and was served a lovely glass of homemade vegan eggnog with rum. It was awesome. And so was the food. And dessert – which was chocolate chip-mint-oatmeal-walnut cookies.
On another note: I’m amused that you mentioned your consumption of other foods – stuff that isn’t baking. I get jokes about that too. I make tons of other, healthy, non-baking, food, but I usually just eat it. My blogging focus is on the baking. I joked once on my personal Facebook page that I also vacuum my floor sometimes too, but I don’t bother telling the world about it…but, then, I posted a picture of me holding my vacuum, vacuuming, just to prove the point. Anyway, enjoy the holidays, Brittany!
