  • What’s to Come

Posted at 5:00 AM by Brittany, on June 5, 2017

And just like that, I’m back from Ireland. To say this trip was life changing would be a severe understatement, but my mind is still a jumble of emotions so that will have to do. I am struggling with some intense post vacation blues, but I look forward to the blog posts to come in regards to my trip. This trip stripped my soul and rebuilt it in ways I cannot explain, and I am forever thankful.

The lifestyle in Ireland is something I will continue to chase – the slow moving days, the treatment of animals, the quality of food, the friendliness of the people. And the green. OH the green. The next handful of posts will break down my trip by locations and highlights, so if this is not your preferred read then I suggest you check back with my blog in a few weeks.

Cheers to the next few weeks of recap.

I loved Ireland that much, too! Let’s move there. I’ll get Todd to find a job to support us there and you can be our chef. And we can start a little business and visit castles all the time.

I’m not even kidding…I’ve been searching how to live there (working legally, you know the important stuff ha) since I’ve been home. We could run a B&B. I’d need help cooking the meat. Lolol. Ugh I can’t wait I go back.

On my to do list is to obtain Irish citizenship. If you have a grandparent from Ireland you can do this.

OMG, really? My grandpa is indeed from Ireland. I must look into this.

I stand corrected, it’s my great grandparents that are from Ireland. Does that count? Ha.

I just checked. Looks like you are out of luck. I think, however, that my father was an Irish citizen but never knew it.

I can’t wait! I was reliving my trip to Dublin and Northern Ireland through your IG pics. It’s a very special place. All I know is the Guinness and Chocolate both tasted so much better than it does here, and for that reason alone (plus 100000 more) we are going back some day!

And don’t worry, another trip will happen…..soon.
