1. This box spoke to me. It said,”fill me with naughty treats because you need more insulation.” <–That’s not true, so the box was lying. Either way I love it.
2. I found a dollar coin in the parking lot after finishing chem class this week. It was like a glimmer of magical hope after one too many molarity equations.
3. Starbucks ornaments. Enough said.
4. The mountains surrounding my living space have been large and in change lately. Sunny yet freezing days mean clean, snowy, BLUE mountain tops. If I can’t be on the mountain, I’m thankful I can at least see them all around me.
5. Cookies twice in one day. Despite the fact that neither of these instances offered any “Brittany friendly” cookies, the gestures behind them sparked my fire higher than The General Sherman Tree. Instance #1- Partner appreciation cookies at work.

Sorry friends, these chocolate coated shortbread cookies are not available for the public. I gave mine to my mama!
Instance # 2- The kid I sit by in chem class gave a plate of cookies he made to me and the girl on my other side (I sit in the middle.) There is a special bond chemistry students develop with each other, and I’m not talking about ionic or covalent. We all laugh, cry, and bleed the same while stuffing our brains with painful knowledge.
He’s my new favorite person, and such a precious high school child.
Naturally I started and finished this post by talking about cookies. Happy Friday.
Q: What’s one of your Friday favorites?

That Starbucks cookie is awesome. And your living space is amazing. I would live in the PNW. For sure. Even if it means I don’t get the 300+ days of sunshine that I’m accustomed to….

The best kind of post! ALL THE COOKIES! Okay, I always knew we were soul mates but now I really really believe it: Yesterday, I was at the greyhound in Vancouver – I walk out and low and behold there’s a dollar on the ground!! So you and I BOTH found a lucky dollar this week. Um, MAGIC! Also, this is going to sound very ignorant and Canadian (sorrryyy) but I always thought all American dollars are bills. Either way, I just learned some thing new. Have the best weekend B!
Brittany
Bahaha, no you’re right the US has paper dollars. They tested out the coins for a period of time, probably because they wanted to be cool like Canadaland. I don’t think they make them anymore, but they still float around and I see them once in a while.

Cannot go wrong with a cookie! 🙂

LOVE the cookie & Starbuck’s ornament (I have a Starbucks tree that I put up since I have so many ornaments;) and the box at the top! So cute!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I have a Starbucks ornament from a few years ago. Mine is red and has a winking snowman on it. Love. And I can’t even tell you how jealous I am that you get to see the mountains. I’ll be driving up to go snowboarding tomorrow, buuuuut it takes me like 4 hours to get there 😆
ilovecoffeeandcandles
The box at the top is my second favorite. The cookies take the gold.

COOKIES! Get in muh belly! What a nice guy to bring in cookies. We’re having a cookie day at work and I’m pretty excited to graze on them All.Day.Long,
Rach @ This Italian Family
I love those ornaments! I saw one in our local store and nearly bought it the other day. I’m pretty sure Christopher is going to find it in his stocking this year. 😉

All I see is cookies. All I care about is cookies.
Sad thought: I actually can’t remember the last time I had a freaking cookie. What a travesty. Good thing I’ve got nothing to do this weekend but bake 😉
Brittany
Get some cookies in your life…STAT!

My Friday favorite was having a solid 9 hour work shift and enjoying the whole thing. I’m glad I love where I work!
Brittany

Lol! My friend came over today and gifted me starbucks measuring cups- I used them as nut holders lololol.
You should get fired for not selling those starbucks cookies. I had to buy a biscotti from there.

YES! Always eat more cookies! Can I tell you, I saw those adorable cup ornaments the other day and I really, really wanted one, but A) my husband was with me and B) we don’t do Xmas trees!
Brittany
I know you two have been married for a good bit now, but I still just swoon over the word “husband” in this sentence. 🙂

So cute your classmate made you cookies 🙂
I have been absolutely addicted to shortbread cookies the last few weeks. I cannot get enough!
di @ life of di.
How sweet of your classmate to bring you cookies 🙂 Also, I love my Starbucks ornament. My mom bought me one several years ago and I just had to bring it to my own Christmas tree (instead of leaving it at my parents house!)
Aja
That Starbucks cookie would sell out so fast if it was available to the public. That’s awesome you guys get cookies that are only for you, though. I need to find a new job. I miss living by mountains. Beautiful picture.

OMFG YOU ARE NEVER ALLOWED TO GO TO CHEM EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!
earthzenmama
Oh my gosh, what a sweet chemistry friend!! Living in Colorado, I am also enjoying the change of the glorious mountains. Lovely!
Meghan@CleanEatsFastFeets
I’ve been missing you, and I figured you were all caught up in Chemistry class, and apparently cookies as well. I’m much happier about the latter.
P
COOKIES! And that Sbux cookies looks like such a treat!
I really want to bake some good old fashioned sugar cookies with frosting (with some tweaks!) but I’m going to wait once this week and exams are over…winter break couldn’t come any sooner!!!
harveylisam
Those mountains look so gorgeous! Don’t tell anyone, but I kind of miss snow. (I’ll take that back as soon as I’m home in Canada, I’m sure haha).
Khushboo Thadani (@KhushbooThadani)
That Starbucks cookie looks amazeballs- love shortbread! A Friday favourite of mine was, wait for it…chocolate fondant with PB ice cream! Divine to say the least ;)!

Now THIS is my kind of post…start and end with cookies!!! I think you know how much I love cookies and I really need that wooden sign in my life!! Haha!
Kate @ Another Clean Slate
I think the picture of the mountains is incredible. Wow. And yum to the cookies!
Shawna
i love those mountains in the background, especially over the water. snow-capped mountains in the distance just make life that much more wonderful. that’s my fave thing on here. xo
foodielovesfitness
I’m diggin’ the cookie box too! And I’m also obsessed with mountains and LOVE living amongst them. I grew up in NJ in flatlands and when I moved out to Cali I was immediately obsessed with the mountains everywhere. I love hiking them, and when I’m not climbing up them, I enjoy just looking at them from a distance 🙂
