I consider myself very lucky. My Valentine showed up on time, and stayed with me all day long. He dressed to impress and put on his tuxedo for me.
I just can’t get enough. While his white “almost” soul patch works for now, I want to get him one of these..
This is not my cat, but I need that neck tie.
My date and I had fun adventures. We started with a walk (he escaped and then I left him outside.) On my walk I found the love that is my neighborhood.
I can’t tell if that smaller pile is poo or a pine cone. After our walks we baked. Well, tried to bake. I wanted to make a giant heart cookie. Everyone was making cakes, so I wanted to rebel. It backfired.
Giant chubby heart. It was still raw in the center and while I love raw dough, I tore it apart and recooked it in pieces.
I also spent some time with this guy.
We share somed vodka and cried over being old. I am 24 today. It’s almost all down hill from here. Before I get calls about deforming my cats, he doesn’t really look like this, but that app was hilarious.
There we go.

We have such similar ideas! I made my guy pink heart-shaped rice krispie treats using this heart-shaped ice cube tray, but they looked somewhat deformed when I popped them out… But we celebrated the day before with sushi (and a vegan chocolate cupcake from Whole Foods — I’m obsessed since reading your post from ages ago!) to beat the crowds.
And… HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Good luck with your half marathon this weekend too!

No, I do believe it! I love their fudgy frosting, but the cupcake itself is hit or miss… Most of the time they’re on the dry side. Where is this wonderful place of cupcake bliss??

The husband and I skipped a V-day celebration on Thurs. too. (Although, I did splurge on a card and a few dark chocolate bars for the fella – I don’t bother baking b/c he somehow eats only 1/24 of whatever it is I bake and I inhale the rest. Who prefers a dark chocolate bar to yummy icing-ed cake?!) I have hopes of doing something Sunday night, and by “doing something” I mean going out for booze and food and a exchanging well-intentioned snarky comments expressing our appreciation and love for each other 😀
