I am two days into my vacation and haven’t wasted any time settling into California. I felt like a foreigner traveling on an airplane built for a Furby. The aisles were so small the flight attendants had to turn to the side to walk. Manfriend’s head was almost to the ceiling, and we loaded/unloaded outside! I get a little anxious is small spaces, but the flight attendant saved the day when she brought me a Disneyland coloring book. What an angel. After landing, the first stop was not the hotel.
You can see our shadows, but in case you can’t I have initialed them. TJ’s for $40 worth of groceries, that is almost half gone after a day and a half..HA! After finally settling into the hotel, we went for a 3 mile run around our hotel (which is half a mile from DLand.) It was glorious. Then it was lights out becasue Dland was only HOURS away.
Yayayaya I LOVE DISNEYLAND!! The day was perfect, perfect weather, perfect crowds, and perfect company. We never waited longer than 15minutes in a line, and our hotel is so close we were able to walk back twice to stuff our faces before returning for more fun.
I couldn’t have asked for a better day at Disneyland. I was sad leaving, but then remembered I was returning on Sunday to run around like a headless chicken. Today I am going to pick up all my goodies at the race expo, and return to TJ’s to stock back up on food that was depleted after less than two days. I have struggled finding time to read all my beloved blog babes, but I promise to catch up and comment soon!
