The last of the onions from my wine box garden have been harvested. I decided to pull the last three today. Their box is now empty, just waiting to be occupied by something else! More onions perhaps? I am amazed at the transformation of the boxes. They are definitely nearing their end.
I am very pleased with how the onions turned out. I pulled the first few to make room for the others to grow bigger, and they did just that.
I’m like a proud mother sending her child off to college. Except I don’t have kids..I just attempt to grow good produce. Yay. I hope to have another update on my carrots and beets soon. The Swiss chard is just about finished, but I was able to harvest quite a bit of it!
In random news: I have been getting weekly massages to help my back. My insurance covers all but my copay, which is only $20 each visit. $20 for a massage is like finding Nemo in your bathtub. I’ve noticed that after my massage I feel better, until the very next day I am at work and get sore all over again. I think I need a new job. I wish I could hire my cat to massage me, but he only massages my stuffed animals.
Don’t mind the awful music, just focus on the natural movement of those kitty arms. So jealous of that stuffed animal.
Now onto the most important part of this post. I have randomly selected a winner for the Road ID giveaway!
Royaaaaa! Send me a message at: blissfulbritt@yahoo.com so I can get you the code to pick out your gear!
Q: Do your pets do anything weird? My little black man kneads at my stuffed animals all the time, and “barks” at laser pointers.

whoa, those onions are amazing. That is so cool you did that.
Gorgeous onions Britt – I can see why you would be proud, those are impressive! Way to go!
Oh lawwwwd if cats would massage, I’d have at least 20 by now haha! And HUZZAH for onions!!! They look superb
Can’t wait to hear the next veggie update!
They taste AMAZING!!!!
I love you!
Beautiful garden/growing work, Britt!
Yay for growing things, those onions look AWESOME!
Those onions look perfect
Cheers

awesome garden! i have garden aspirations but also laziness … the laziness is winning! i’ll have to live vicariously through your home-grown veg.
Goodness you are on fire with the gardening- I can’t believe YOU grew these onions! Isn’t it crazy to think that you could make a meal JUST out of what you yourself have harvested (at least the veggie portion of the meal)!
Oh my gosh, those came from your garden?? They look awesome!
I don’t know why, but your cat video made me laugh a lot. Like… A LOT. haha
Hi Britt! Where did you locate the random number generator you use?

Thanks!
My cats do the same thing! lol! My one cat (Jack) actually “brushes” my hair while I’m sleeping because he does that on my head hahaha
Haha! If only I could teach my cats to give massages.
I am glad that your insurance covers it. That’s great!
Those onions look great. I am so impressed!
very impressive! those onions look perfect!
Atta girl! So impressed by your onions! Ours should be close to ready to pull up!
HAHA I laughed so hard at your video, the music was perfect
Upon reading “$20 for a massage is like finding Nemo in your bathtub,” I spat all over myself in an unexpected bout of laughter and exclamation of “f*ck me!!!” Hahaha. You are so hilarious. I think you are my little sister’s twin!
Gwendolyn exhibits extremely controversial blanket behaviour! When we meet for a delicious vegan dinner someday, I’ll need to tell you about the time that Gwendolyn humped my Vera Wang comforter on the main street of my town as I dragged it and her into the dry cleaners. LOL.
Bises!
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Bahahahahahaaaaaaaaah.
The onions are seriously amazing!! Great job there lady.
And super jealous of your massage. I need one, asap. Im always begging my hubby to get us coupels massage, but he doesnt seem too thrilled about it lol
Those onions look amazing!! Oh my cats definitely do weird stuff… Jax does the same with this giant stuffed elephant we have. He also scratches at the floor before he drinks water. I read it’s a Maine Coon thing because they used to scratch away the leaves before they drank out of rivers/lakes? Interesting that it’s still part of their nature.
Could I hire your kitty to do my stuffed animals? Esme only does blankets.
yeah! I am so excited! Thanks for the giveaway!
