I just realized I haven’t written a post in almost a week..OOPS! With that said, I have a review to share with you all. I have seen this peanut butter allllll ovvveerrrr the interweb, and I was dying to try it. FYI this PB is NOT vegan, I decided to make an exception after realizing too late it wasn’t vegan friendly. I still hold strong with my vegan diet and have been thinking about a, “vegan with benefits” diet for the future. More on this later, back to the PB.
PB Crave, you may have seen it..you may have even tried it! I was lucky enough to try each of the four flavors offered by the company. If you are like me, you dream about PB, you salivate thinking about PB, and you slather PB on just about anything. I won’t stop until I try any and every PB ever created.
This flavor was my least favorite so I will start with this. It razzle dazzled my tastebuds, but I didn’t care for the chunks of white chocolate. This one tasted artificial to me. I wouldn’t buy this one again. Straight to the point.
If you like cookie dough, and chocolate..then you will like this flavor. Add in a bowl of vanilla ice cream and this is one hot nookie of a date. For an alternative use, slather this PB onto the upper arm of your significant other and watch them struggle to lick it off. They will want to eat it so badly you can’t help but laugh.
Of all four flavors this would be the only one I would use as an every day peanut butter. I like PB and banana sandwiches, so it feels right to use this on basic sandwich bread. The banana flavor is good, not too over powering and the chocolate is the same. For an alternative use, grab a banana and slice it in half. Slather this PB onto one of the halves, shove chocolate chunks on top, and put the other half of the banana on the chocolate. A banana sandwich without the bread.
If I were to purchase any flavor, it would be this one. Chocolate on top of more chocolate, on top of PB is a match that is unbeatable. Same as with the Cookie Nookie flavor, add some vanilla ice cream and you will be sure to keep your date around until the container is empty. For an alternative use, get a spoon and never put it down..this deserves nothing less than your undivided attention with a spoon and a hot bath.
Overall: My first reaction was hesitant because I hate oily PB. When I first opened the container there was a thick layer of oil sitting on top. This is due to the naturalness of the PB indicating no artificial ingredients are used. Regardless of this PB being all natural, and free of any hydrogenated oils I still don’t prefer oily PB. The PB I use daily is one I grind myself from JUST peanuts, so there are no added flavors, oils, or sugar. I stirred the oil into the PB and then set the containers into the fridge for an hour before tasting them. Once they solidified they tasted good. I would use these as dessert PB’s because they are very sweet.
PB Crave PB’s would be great for baking, and for topping ice cream. If you are feeling really wild just shove a spoon into the container and call it dessert. Being such a chocolate freak, I would recommend the Choco Choco, and the Cookie Nookie. Spoon not included. The company is very VERY nice and was more than willing the send me this product free of charge for my review in exchange. Not only were they very friendly, but 2% of every purchased PB goes to help malnourished children.

Glad to see a new post! Was wondering where you were! Sounds interesting…will wait to read more reviews but I do not recall seeing this in my local grocery stores.
I just ordered some of this PB for dad for fathers day, as he is a PB freak, and i would love to have some to try myself, honestly any flavor would do, t hey all sound great!

What a great giveaway! You know how the blog world loves peanut butter, haha! I just tried a peanut butter with banana flavoring and it was delicious! I didn’t think it would be, but it was. I eat bananas with peanut butter every day so having the two in one is great.
If I had to choose, I’d say that one would probably be my favorite!

“Vegan with benefits.” Why can I not be this creative?! I don’t eat any animal products… except for fish… except for honey in my KIND bars (bees are mean!). Thus, I define my diet as being “plant based.” But what the hell does that mean?! Vegan with benefits is so much more fabulous. I am hereby stealing it.
PS: What is not vegan about this PB? I could research it, but I’d rather you just tell me since you already know. Mwah!
We shall be “vegans with benefits” together. It almost sounds naughty..this is why I like the title so much. I plan to stick to a plant based diet as well, and the benefits come in for moments like this when I try a swab of PB that is made with whole milk (POOP) or if I have a piece of cheese…mmm cheese.
The PB has whole milk, all four of them. Pity.
Pity, indeed. I don’t care so much for the cows, but rather for my gorgeous Elizabethan skin which is negatively impacted by any milk product. So, I’m definitely a Vogue Vegan with Benefits.

Mmmm… peanut butter… I’m doing a Paleo diet these days, which prohibits legumes such as peanuts, so I have been having almond butter instead. It’s weirdly sticky and hard to get off your teeth! But tasty
